A Devastating Loss – August 2008
Roy, Utah August 25, 2008 – Focus Services, a privately owned contact center based out of Utah, with just under 2,000 employees working in eight Focus facilities, both domestically and internationally, suffered a great loss on Sunday morning when four of their employees perished in a tragic plane crash.
Focus Services had five employee volunteers who were embarking on the third annual humanitarian expedition to Guatemala. It was with great sadness that we learned of the death of four longtime employees and the injury of another. All were courageous individuals who were taking time away from their families to serve others and make the world a better place.
Focus’ President, John Porter said, “The Focus family and our community have suffered a great loss in the passing of four of our dearest friends and associates. They were outstanding individuals who will be greatly missed.”
“We are at a loss for words and deeply saddened by the tragic event. We pray for the families as they go through this difficult time,” said Kris Cottrell, Vice President.
On behalf of the employees at Focus Services we extend our condolences to the families, and offer our prayers, thoughts, and sympathies during this time of loss.
